Reviewing the news it appears that cops/prosecutors are summarily punishing people before adjudication and due process. That is, they arrest you for non-crimes and toss you in jail till you convince a judge of your innocence.

In Cincinnati a man called an associate a 'cripple,' and went to jail. Touch a TSA worker, go to jail.
 
I'm with you until the last bit. If you finger a TSA worker you should definitely get locked up.

Are you talking about the government throwing you in jail until you can prove you're a citizen?
