anyone know why my story was replaced with something else

Same title but when it got posted to the site the actual story was another story. It wasn't my story. It looks like my story got switched with someone else.

Likely nothing more than a mix-up. The best thing to do is send a private message (not an e-mail) to Laurel and explain the situation. About a year ago I had some stories that got royally screwed up (missing paragraphs, a chapter posted under another chapter's heading, and the like). It eventually got straightened out

Or it is possible that two stories were submitted with the same title by two different authors. I had that happen last year, when I posted a story with the same title that grandmaster dweaver999 posted the same day (of course his story was much better than mine). It confused me for a moment when I first saw them together.

Happened to me a couple of years ago too. PM (not e-mail) the editor, Laurel, at that name and describe the problem. It likely means someone else's story got screwed up to. The PM (private message) system can be entered via the "Private Message" button at the top right of this screen.
