As this week marks the 4-year anniversary of the first time the average price of regular unleaded exceeded $4/gallon, I thought it might be interesting to check out the current status of gas prices, since as we all know, we've had certain political changes since then that have destroyed the American oil industry, leading to a massive increase in what we're paying at the pump.
So let's see...the average price of regular unleaded today is--er, wait. $3.54/gallon? That's down from what it was in June 2008, and also down from what it was at this time a year ago?
