Awwww, fudge!

Ok, this is the third forum I have seen mention of this, and I am wondering if I am the only person that didn't know it existed.

I guess they deserve a break, but hate to see them go.

This.

I learned a lot from them:
It is safe to set off a bug bomb in the car.
If your windshield installer does a crappy job you need a helmet, a pair of driving goggles and a plunger.
And so very much more.

It's that sheltered [boring?] life you've been leading. ;)

They are on NPR on Saturday mornings. Anyone who doesn't know about them should have their boring and sheltered membership card revoked. :D

I moved to the DC area in 1982 before their show started, and decided not to own a car here at that time.

By the time their show started, I was never up early enough on Sat AMs to catch it [those Fri nights for my single, footloose and fancy-free self were deadly]. But I became a regular fan, still carless, upon hitting fifty-mumble and slowing down some and have been so ever since.

Boo! How will I ever fix my '95 Volvo that burps during a left-hand turn? :D

No you are not.

Who are Klick and Klack? I have heard of Frick and Frack and bric-a-brac, but not Klick and Klack.

This provoked great distress when I first heard it. Now, I am resigned and nostalgic. I will miss those guys Thank God for CDs of their programs. I learned a lot from those two mugs. Guess I should have called sooner. That's what I get for having a car that doesn't need fixing. http://www.cartalk.com/

Now see? I'm in somewhat the same situation. My cars have worked for years with little or nothing except routine maintenance. I suppose I could call them about my A/C condensation situation but I really never listen to them except when I'm in my car!
