I blurted this earlier. I saw "The Grey" last night...alone. It didn't 'move' me....simply made me jumpy. Now I'm scared to go check cattle this evening cause my brain is running away with images.

Yes to those two.

Also: Ghost, Old Yeller, Where the Red Fern Grows, A River Runs Thru It....

There's more. I just can't think yet.

Schindler's List is in a league of it's own.

Also added is "Not without my daughter".

I somehow managed to have never seen Schindler's List. Thank you for reminding me about it.

It's one of those movies...like Petey said, you kinda need to watch, but will only want to see it once.

While I was watching Dead Man Walking, it occurred to me that I was suppose to feel empathy for Sean Penn's character. I never did.

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.

The Champ

The Days of Wine and Roses

"Lovely, Still"
(a quiet, little independent film, starring Martin Landau and Ellen Burstyn; I recommend it highly, and it affected me even more the second time I watched it!)

"Sophie's Choice"

"Gorillas In the Mist"

"The China Syndrome"

"The Killing Fields"

"The Deer Hunter"

"Winter's Bone"

Yes!

And Bastard out of Carolina.

Fight Club; definitely opened my eyes to a different, entirely unapologetic and liberating viewpoint. How much bullshit do we place value on which really has no real, enduring meaning in our lives?

I'm on board with this. I came out of the theater with a visceral sort of energy after seeing that.
