I've been trying to write a bit about danger in my stories. Just some quick words about my bias: I'm a submissive straight male interested in exploring humiliation, mostly from the idea of having to watch as your mom fucks other men as a complete slut.
Anyway, in moving forwards from the initial shock of humiliation, I've wanted to incorporate sincere danger. I want the characters in my stories (a sexy mother and her son, really) to be put in a threatening and scary situation that will really be arousing for me as the author and for readers who share my interests.
However, I'm having trouble figuring out how to make danger sexy instead of scary. For example, while I would love the idea of a man telling the mom-son duo that he is going to kill them if the mom doesn't let him knock her up, there is such a huge part of me that knows how serious violence against women and rape is. Is it possible to create a menacing villain whose threats and danger is thrilling instead of disturbing?
I tried to write about this in one of my stories, Danielle's Legacy. In the story, a mother becomes a pro-sex pro-porn radical feminist, and when her son is accused of rape, she is vicious and cruel to him in a way I found very arousing. However, it seems most readers did not find this to be the case.
In another story, A Fairy Tale, a gorgeous trapped maiden is so sexy that even the animals of the forest declare their lust for her, but she is vicious and cruel and eats them with no remorse and wears their pelts on her body. Here, the main complaint was that the story wasn't sexual enough. I guess readers didn't see the submissive horny animals as stand-ins to themselves and so her actions weren't really very cruel.
Anyway, right now I'm in the middle of writing a standard story about a resort in which guests pay to be either male traders or female slaves in a consensual role playing game where their money goes to a charity to stop real sex trafficking. However, I want to introduce a rogue player who genuinely takes the mom and son into his possession (the son has been given a lower status than slave and tied by his wrist to his mom the slave's waist) and puts them in a threatening position. I'm having trouble, however, determining how to make him genuinely threatening while not being off putting.
Hope this topic can spark some helpful discussion.
