RIP Doc Watson

Sonny is going to come in here and tell you he already made a thread. Just FYI, he's a dick like that.

Also, I wish I had even a tenth of Doc's talent. He was amazing.

Doc was a true legend and as sweet as the day is long.

I was lucky enough to see Doc perform many times and to know folks who knew him well. He was an outstanding musician and human being. His death follows Earl Scruggs' in March...there's going to be some amazing pickin' and grinning at the Pearly Gates.

Few know of what you speak. An inspiration that marched through generations has left us.
