The misogeny is so bloody apparent with the trolls there. Great story about an abused woman who kills her husband in self-defense, and all the haters are concerned about is whether or not she was cheating on the guy. These same assholes cheer when the wronged hubby kills his unfaithful wife, or sells her into sex slavery, or...you name it.
Anyway, it was an entertaining run up the flagpole, as far as I am concerned.

Psssst that's because LW and NOn con are populated by women haters. I know its hard to tell, but if you look real close you see subtle signs.;)

Just finished copy editing a new DG Hear, MFG, series, and Ch 1 is probably going to post in LW, and it'll draw the trolls for sure. DGH, MFG, has been around the block so many times he's virtually troll-proof, but I get pissed when an author I like and respect gets the troll treatment.

Actually, the comments and such have been pretty helpful. A few might be a little confused but other than that not bad at all.

I love making people think.

Did you include a little intentional misdirection, TxRad? Your protagonist calls it 'murder,' but I would call it 'carefully planned defensive response.' Although there were not too many comments going after you personally, it was actually the comments accusing your heroine of cheating (maybe confusing, on a first read) that got me. I mean, who the hell cares? She was married to an abusive monster. It was just a matter of time before it was him or her. She may have brought things to a crisis, but it was a crisis that was not to be avoided.
