I believe that everyone has experienced that magical summer.

Like the song says, "those were the best days of my life." For myself, it was the summer of 1980 and her name was Dana. The details would bore people but life was REALLY just like the Bryan Adams song. That's what makes it so great when gazing back in the rear view!

How about yours?

Hope that this is an intriguing thread. It's all I got to offer today.

Cheers.

Definitely. Summer of '88. Not that far off from the song in fact.

What is it about teenage memory songs that touch people? I don't genarlly like Kid Rock because of all the foul language, etc, but that song All Summer Long was so great. There's also a really great song about growing up from Les Cowboys Fringants, a French Canadian group, called Banlieue that's really bittersweet and powerful. Love those kind of songs.

I have many great memories and I try to create as many new ones as I can.

Summer of 02.... the Army had me ripped to high hell and arrogant as it gets. I got more pussy off Myrtle Beach SC than I knew what to do with.

It's amazing what a cool guy car, some money and 6 pack abs will do for a guy's sex life.

If you can remember the summer of 69', you weren't really there.

I think I stole that from Robin Williams

Summer of '90. I was young, in love, and dumber than a ton of bricks. She was older and much more sophisticated. It was magical that summer and all went to shit later that winter.

Summer of '87. I spent it Santa Barbara.

There's never been a summer quite like it.

Fun fact: Bryan Adams was actually nine years old in the summer of '69.

I'll leave it up to you to figure out what the number actually means.

Anyway, first year outta the millenium was pretty epic. The whole year actually.

2003 for me, tho not in the summer! It was winter! Great way to keep warm.

He was older, more experienced and it was in his car! He had an old Lincoln Continental of all things! LMAO

I don't think the song was just about his girlfriend, I think it was about the whole group of friends the summer after high school and then how they went their separate ways off to their adult lives. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Summer of '69.

A good year.

Had sex with a thirty five year old twice one night and once early the next morning...Yeah, I was way to young.:)

Helped "little" John S. break up a pound of smoke that summer.

Summer of '89....

That was mine.

Kid Rocks All Summer Long and Bryan Adams The Summer Of '69
all wrapped in one.
