What Made You Smile/Laugh Today?

I am appalled to find that you can effectively buy a university degree (although I guess it's not too surprising on reflection)... but, as well as feeling disgusted, I did get quite a few smiles from the home page of this site - the writing style is fucking awful and the English is pretty shonky too.

I especially liked:

"Similarly, your dissertation is not outsourced to people who belonging to other nations."

Soooo good to know that the dissertation will writing by people who speaking English like born.

The above is quite smile/laugh inducing ... thanks for that. :)

The first game of baseball in 2 years with people whose company I enjoy.

It also didn't hurt to get on base 4 out of 5 at bats, winning, and also making a catch across the body while running backwards :)

Yay for the Pup! ::Shrug:: on to-do lists. :p

Well when the to do list includes completely moving ALL of my stuff to storage and cleaning the house top to bottom for moving outness can I have my deposit back please... I think it earns a smile or maybe even 2.

For the record, my Crue is thriving and back to being my tail waggin and wimpering for treats shadow again. Love him I do!

Life is such a ride! :D

Dogs can sense fear of losing deposits. Besides, Crüe is an appendage of yours. Nothing can happen to him. I forbid it, remember?

Definitely more Emo.

Hey there. What's going on in your corner? Or Oval? Square?

You have a new av. Everybody's getting a new av for spring, you know? Nature is so beautiful and terrible and aching in my heart and stuff.

Me? I am working. Lots. And exploring these United States. And making food with red onions and grilling spices, as is my way. You??

Indeed he is and I had a firm talking to with him about the expectation I have for his immortality. You would probably be happy to hear that he seemed to be in total agreement of the idea... but his enthusiasm may have been the pig ear I was holding at the time.

How could we forget? Dogashane, DGE. :rose:

I think it's a new twist on the old one, which is appropriate at the moment. But thanks for noticing. -grins-

Nature can be wonderful and horrible and all that, yes, but the aching will go away if you cut down on fatty foods. Think squirrels, not fat rabbits.

Nice. I'm all about exploring, when I can carve out a moment or a week. And the grilling sounds good, as long as it's accompanied by the requisite "chilling". (And no cheap ass spices. That's a long story...)

I'm looking forward to the lazier pace of the summer. Doing some exploring of my own, and trying to untwist myself. Thoughts?

So eat squirrels and avoid the aching in my heart that the beauty of nature sprouts from a ventricle like a beautiful shootlet coming out of the heart of a man on Lit? I am writing this down. It's good stuff.

Oh, there will be "chilling," with lots of "quotation marks" with which we will get so drunk. Fuck. Four quotation marks and I am under the grill. And I must disagree on cheap ass spices. No ASS spices, sure. I mean, that just goes without saying. But I have good luck buying the most giant cheap ass spice oil drum-sized container at Ollie's and cranking that mystery spice mix of sawdust and charcoal onto my meat. Wait - ouch. Scratch that. Not my meat, the thought.

I think you should explore. Go see Riles. She seems to perk up when you visit. Maybe together y'all can untwist in that Rilesian/Cleo way.

All my stuff is good stuff, babe. Why waste time with anything else? heh.

Wow. Only four quotation marks? You're a cheap date. With or without the spices...

Ah, to explore with Riles. Now that would be worth getting off the couch. But she's a pushy broad, always trying to get me "into the now" and all that happiness and light... she might be too much trouble. Her "friends", however, might be worth the trek.

I'm still trying to figure out how she can untwist me, though. She sees to provoke me in ways I've thought impossible. -grins-

What makes you think she hasn't been "seeing" me all along?

In fact....MAYBE I am the one that got her all twisty to start with. Hmmm?

And I'm wildly curious about all this talk of you rubbing your meat with ass spices....cheap or otherwise.

-singing-

"My friends are your friends and your friends are my friends"

You know, we really could just cut out the middle man and do the nitty gritty ourselves. -kiss kiss, wink wink-

Shhh, babe. Don't get all ... Riled. -grins-

I'll admit to curiosity as well in regards to the spiced meat. Are we talking tenderizer, or just flavor-enhancers, or what, exactly?

I can't promise anything.

But I WILL share my skiddles with you while we wait to see what he comes up with.

I'll remember that. :D

With or without spices?

I believe our collective asses would be hot enough without the spices, but really, I'm all about turning various cranks, so whatever you wish lovely.

Well, these are the quotation marks with high irony content - 13 percent irony in every pint.

Listen to her. She does "soft nudge" one in PMs, and while that's just over the line, it's not the crime it once was in the 50s, and I am sure she can aid you.

Apparently there's a lot of regular twisting and untwisting of Cleo going on, that you are doing or not doing, and possibly undoing with pushiness, happiness and light. I seem to remember there being some sitting on porches and drinking lemonade or fulfillment juice or bonding tea or something at some point, and that this was a boon to your weary frozen bones. Of course this could all be a dream, brought on by ass spice poisoning.
