Yeah, I miss Colly, too. And I determined to keep her section and the one about Gabrielle up permanently, whatever else is there. The latter out of my affection for Vana. I miss seeing her around here. She was one of my favorites of the old gang.

The "don't like" stuff seems to fit my basic attitude anymore. I'm no one's nanny and I already have two stepchildren. I don't need to dictate how people live their lives. It's an "in your face" civil-libertarian segment that I saw on Facebook and liked enough to put in my sig. One that generally the majority of AHers can agree with, right or left (except for amicus, I suppose).

I keep meaning to see Sweeney Todd and the new Pirates of the Caribbean (especially with Penelope Cruz in it). Saw Edward Scissorhands again, recently. Fascinating film.

And, for the record, I went back through the "gang-rape" thread and want to sincerely apologize to any I upset by unintentionally trivializing that issue. That wasn't my intent at all, but I can see where it came off that way. Three years late, of course. But apologies for what they're worth. I had my point to make, and I can sometimes get tunnel vision when making my points, which are sometimes tangential to the main topic.
