Swords, Sex and Sorcery (D20 casting call)

So plan is pop darkness, sneak over, drop darkness, intimidate with Nizzre aiding another for a total modifier of +6 (ranks, aid another, magical prop) gonna need a 14, fingers crossed.

I've been assuming that most of the patrons are ordinary folks, not adventurers... is that an erroneous assumption?

Then in the words of Pink

Na-na na naaa na-na naaa,
I'm gonna start a fight
Na-na na naaa na-na naaa,
Let's all get in a fight!

And now we see the biggest disagreement between Scully and Tarik. Tarik calls it etiquette. Scully calls it stupid.

I know talking is a free action, but could we slow it down so we can get the last stab at intimidation done? Its going to hard if the fights already started.

*grins* Never seen a good old hollywood western saloon brawl before?

Or joined Mal and Zoe in an alliance bar on independence day?

"Well, they tell ya, 'Never hit a man with a closed fist.' But it is, on occasion, hilarious. "

It's all a bit of fun, and the losers wake up next morning bruised and battered.

But if we start stabbing folks, its going to escalate rapidly and there will be a bloodbath.

You forget where and how Scully grew up. A bar fight in the slums typically ended with several people going to the morgue. And there's also the fact that as far as he's concerned, there is no such thing as a fair fight. If you're fighting fair, you're a sucker.

Heh, I'll almost be dissapointed if it works.

But I have to go to work soon, if things do kick off feel free to roll for Tarik to keep things moving.

He's at to-hit +10 at the moment, dealing 7+D3 damage per punch, and will use cleave if possible in a "one-two punch" style.

AC is only 18, though, as he isn't using his shield.

*grins*

You think Tarik considers himself versus a room full of typical bar patrons a fair fight?

;)

Rogues generally believe that a fair fight means, "You don't know that I'm standing right behind you."

So I didn't see you making plans before I posted. I can edit it if you want so she doesnt fog.. but it's what i was asked to do IC hehe

She just made a simple mistake of actually listening to Scully's boneheaded plan. There's no way she could know yet that he relies entirely of half-assing all of his solutions.

Interesting fact, there is a word for that in Portuguese that has no English analog: desenrascanço. Roughly means "to disentangle" yourself by improvising a solution using only that which is immediately available.

I love words like that.

Can your darkness be seen through with Dark Vision? Because the fog can't. however the fog doesnt cover you very much when you're in melee, only provides partial cover. So the combination of the two is pretty total.

Very total, but 5 foot of darksight is better than blinded.

And done. haha, gave an unneccesary twist but at least it was roleplaying.
