Oh yeah, I will be watching the Coke 600 and the Indy 500 but I know no one here will appreciate my love of racing.

Afraid not. I attended the Coca-Cola 600 in person once, and the only time I wasn't bored was the pre-party the night before with Steppenwolf and .38 Special.

Here, the weather is supposed to repair itself after a short decline on Sunday. We'll see. :cool:
 
Working holiday, then bop down to the sweet spot for friends, flicks, eats and drinks. It's all good times, as usual. ;)

I wouldnt be surprised if it rained all through the weekend...in DC. It just wont clear up for good...
 
Weather: mostly cloudy with showers until the 31st. temperature, high 50's to mid 60's. That be OK though, I'll stay warm...;). We'll have guest for the weekend.

It's going to be raining off and on all weekend here. Other than the Twins game on Sunday I don't have plans. My darlings are off to camp with their father and I plan to see some movies, read some books and not think about work for three whole days.
 
I will be at a civil war living history event showing people how soldiers lived in the 1860s. Those boys fought to hold this nation together(or become a seperate country depending on the side) and their sacrafices shouldn't be forgotten.

Like racing huh? I'll be at Indy and I'm from SF
 
Thinking about getting some bbq and taking dad on a picnic if the weather is good.

And I'm working too. But I did buy a giant seedless watermelon yesterday and ate a big chunk of it so I'm feeling summery already. When not at work I'll be tending to the garden, the dogs, chickens, and goats.

Billy Bob Thorton is one of my latest rescues from the Train Town petting Zoo in Sonoma. A kid was teasing him and got butted big time so they were going to shoot him 'till I came along. (the goat, not the kid) Now he lives with his two companions on a few acres with nothing but love.
