Here's a story that might make you put down that morning mug o' joe. An Indonesian maid has been charged with adding menstrual blood to her employer's coffee and will reportedly plead guilty to the gross crime. The alleged incident occurred last summer at the house of her 38-year-old employer, who will likely never leave a drink unattended again. @anthraxxxx joked that "her employer must be Edward Cullen," while @weimeng called the unwelcome addition a "natural iron supplement." We're going to go with @zniltiaC, who simply called it "so so so disgusting." There's a reason Starbucks doesn't offer this as a power shot.

I wonder what law makes this illegal? Has it happened enough times that the legislative body said, "Ok, enough of this! We must criminalize putting menstrual blood in people's coffee!"

Probably an "unwanted bodily fluids" law to keep your waiter from pissing in your beer.

LOL something tells me the boss more than likely had it coming......

IME malice is not something usually reserved for those that treat you with respect and common decency, two things snotty rich folk usually aren't known for giving the hired help. But these are two things everyone should give to those that handle ones food and money.

Sounds like her boss needs to drink everything in a to-go cup with a lid. Then throw it away before the maid finds it.

That maid could get a job with the waiter. I bet she can mix a mean Bloody Mary.
They could be a team. "Pissing Pete and Bleeding Betty".

True story:

A friend of mine's wife is a nurse in Atlanta, she told us that a Haitian woman came into her clinic one day wanting to know if she put some of her "menstrul" in her man's soup, would he stop boning the neighbor lady. So apparently there's some Third World hokum out there about the sinister qualities of menstrual fluid.

Menstrual blood is frequently used in the practice of Santeria. Aleister Crowley did nasty things with it too. Leave it to the Brits.

I wonder if the employer was Chinese.

There is a lot of resentment in Indonesia and Malaysia by the native populations to the predominance of Chinese business and wealth. It has manifested itself in intense violence against the Chinese at times.
