I do not subscribe to his politics or most of his views for that matter. But I give him high marks for being a man who stands firmly on his set of values. He takes a lot of shit for being who he is. He does not take the safe path and follow like sheep. Busybody reminds me of the great grizzled wolf beset by mangy curs intent on pulling him down for not being like the rest of the dogs.

Why does it matter whether I approve or not? Why can't you be satisfied with judging me on the merits of my own posts instead of those of others?

Probably, but why is it my concern? Is this not a free speech site? Does he not have the right to say what he pleases? When he does speak his mind are not the consequences his to bear? His right to speak trumps both my approval and your sensibilities as well.

In short your right to be offended does not trump his right to speak. You of course are free to speak as well. You can voice your opinion about what he says, but I don't think you have a right to judge my acknowledgement of his right in order to try and have it conform with your politically correct standards.
