Swords, Sex and Sorcery (D20 casting call)

Well, that makes things easier to deal with then. Hmm....I might try and come up with something for the mix this weekend, if that's ok with you KOD.

I have a ton of books, but I use the SRD while on line and a character builder for Pathfinder, which is why my character sheets look different than everyone elses.

I'll try and come up with something over the next couple of days. In the meantime...

: Hands out chocolate chip cookies and milk for the hell of it :

Sounds good to me. Any questions or confusion just let us know. You have several experienced people here ready to help. :)

Boy my customer service skillz came out on that one. oi.

I know where to come for my questions then. :p And let me know of an answer to my Pm :)

Hmmm...toss up between a ninja or a gunslinger....Gah, lack of sleep makes things hard to decide.

I suppose Xarkl, Tarik and Scully could always do the full monty in such a situation. Though we might not have the right audience for that. Of course, Kat might try to get them drunk enough to talk them into it anyway.

considering Kat is at a wisdom of 8 right now, that might be beyond her scope though she might just do it herself. :B

Tarik will probably be forced to be a killjoy and do the gentlemanly thing, grabbing Kat before she is halfway through and getting her a room to sleep it off.

Of course, he'd have to ask Lexy to sit with her to make sure she is OK...

Well, not necessarily right now. Perhaps to celebrate looting a dragon's hoard, though. Getting Tarik and Xarkl drunk would be the easy part. Scully doesn't drink though so Kat would have to get creative. And by creative I mean make him a bet he won't do it. Once you figure out that the secret to a good party rogue's success is a complete lack of shame, they're pretty easy to manipulate.

"Come on, just distract the guards by streaking and questioning their parentage, then catch up with us later."
"No. It's fucking cold out."
"I'll give you 5 gold and a handjob."
"Deal."

On the note of manipulating rogues, see also Order of the Stick. "Two words: free trip."

Fair warning, the archive is huge and if I have to criticize one thing about Rich Burlew's writing, it's that he doesn't have much of a sense of economy. The dialog at ties really needs a scalpel. That said, it's some of the best metahumor I've seen since The Muppets. And since you probably don't know my tastes that well, that compliment coming from me is like offering the dude a fucking crown.

It's a long ways into the story, but I have to say my favorite character in the strip is General Tarquin. Dude is hilariously genre savvy.

Yah I haven't read it in forever. I remember when it was in Dungeons magazine...or maybe Dragons...I can't remember now.

Limited run in Dragon, but the strips aren't canon. I think Rich is actually doing well with an over-arcing continuity though. Some of the recent plot twists are pretty damn brilliant.

I keep up to date with the Order of the Stick. Love it.
How much alcohol do you think we have to apply to Tarik for him to get drunk?

Have we lost Xarkl?
