What Made You Smile/Laugh Today?

Ah karma...

So, me and L built a really nice website for a local, volunteer organization and charged about one tenth of what the job was worth. It was a good cause and even though we put in a lot of time we felt it was worth helping them out.

The organization was so happy with our work they forwarded the site on to a ton of people and...we just booked a BIG job, (for which we will charge full price), from one of those referrals.

Yay! No nail banging for the second half of June! :D

ETA: Hm, I need to change my AV...it's certainly not cold here any longer!

Thanks! :)

RUFF!

*positive dog noise*

Dogs are just so fucking wonderful. Perfect creatures. I'm so happy it's going well. Tell 'im I wanna buy him a bowl of water.

It has been a ruff time, buddy appreciates the labations... thank you. :rose:

I am so glad that he is feeling better. It's so hard when animals are sick because they cannot tell you exactly what is wrong. Hope he's up and running around annoying you soon :)

My smile is a lovely pressie :)

Yes...it is always so stunning to finally get a sign that they have been hurting or struggling much longer or more intensely than we can see or realize. Fingers crossed he will be up and running more today! Thank you.

Yay for pressies! :)

This post really made me smile when I read it. THOSE moments are so good...SO good. Congrats on finding the space to unconditionally love yourself...it is not always easy. Really, when done right though, it is it's own sort of super power through everything you do. I can tell that for you, it will be far more than just alright...its gonna be wonderous! I hope your day continues to make you smile from the inside out for many days to come.

Niiice... though given your reaction maybe she did it on purpose just to watch you laugh. :)

My pup had me smiling today too... he is SO much better tonight. 2 very small meals into him earlier today and he was really perking up. I was happy to see him finish it and then look at me with his big eyes all... "where is the rest of it?"

Water drinking... CHECK! Tail waggin...CHECK! Appetite returning ... CHECK! Progress feels gooood. :D

Delayed (gooey) reaction to last Sunday in the hushed, swanky restaurant, when I was talking about my plans for travel and study and he interrupted me mid-sentence to say "I love you". It was said with such warmth and depth and sincerity and joy - and it came from a man who finds it very difficult to say those words.

Thinking about a chat I had with one of The Men the other day... About owning land someday, and bringing in a conservation group to restore it to black land prairie. Living there, but allowing tours/educational field trips/research on the property... I swear to god that man is the sexiest person I have ever met.

Carry an old ladies shopping home from the supermarket for her because it was to heavy for her to carry and she was worried she would not be able to get everything home.

That must have been an entertaining stagger home with the old women's groceries.

It was against her will, wasn't it?

Well I was a bit hungover but had sobered up by that stage....honest.

Not at all, if anything she was worried that she was putting me out, she even offered me a cup of tea for helping her :)

That wasn't an old woman with groceries. It was a public trash can (or waste bin or rubbish pottle or whatever the Kiwi phrase is ;) ), and a crowd gathered to watch you haul it up that hill.

I thought her house looks suspiciously like the Trash Heap from Fraggle Rock.

Realizing in 2 weeks I'll be moved in :)
Sorry - it's early for me, and my perverted mind instantly gave "moved in" an entirely different meaning than you obviously intended it to have. My brain is rather adolescent at times.

Okay, *most* of the time! :p
