The Huffington Post reports that Paul Rusconi, a well known Southern California artist, has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the district attorney.
The lesson to be learned, I think, is that people ought to think twice before making stupid allegations like this. The allegations were made by distant relatives who resented Mr. Rusconi's gay lifestyle. Ugly as it may seem, the authorities handed over the girls to the false-accusers, where they have remained until now.
Of course, being politically correct, the names of the false-accusers remains confidential. They have privacy rights, don't you know! * eyeroll *

This is yet another "baby in the bath" photo situation, with the added anti-gay hostility spurring it on. Why did it take six months for the sheriffs to process the evidence?
