I've bought shirts in tourqouise and orange, shorts in fuschia, and cargo pants in salmon. I'm loving the colors for summer.

Yes, skinny jeans, the jeans that make most of us look like we have doughy, dumpy legs. And how much better will those legs look in tropical colors! No embroidery; in fact, it looks like they're going back to rhinestones instead. But while the distressed look is still in vogue, I think the ripped and tattered look may be out.

So, skin-tight, bright-colred, rhinestone studded jeans paired with peasant blouses AHHHH!

Peasant blouses were popular first in the late 40's early 50's, then again in the mid-60's lasting through to the early 70's when they peaked--and went country. The current fashion can't seem to decide it wants to be in the 60's or 70's. Along with peasant blouses, I saw a lot of blinding paisley at the local department stores--very 60's but the wedge shoes are 70's

The summer look for 2012 seems to be a car-crash of early 70's + Brazilian Tropical with 80's skinny jeans in south western colors for good measure.

for me, the parts I find the most interesting are the cultural bits. How they treated women, how everyone smoked and drank, the racist attitudes, the style, etc.

So when they hunker down to do plot things, I'm nearly bored to tears.
