Anyone else pick up the game last night? I've been playing all morning, and loving it. Except for all the technical difficulties! Error 37 reared its ugly head again.

How are you liking the game? What did you choose to play? Barbarian here.

I have it but haven't played it yet. Account verification in Europe has been utterly borked since the first minute of launch. So I'm waiting it out til they get their shit together.

Might not be able to. It requires logon and constant server connection to run.

Yep, even if you want to play single-player you have to log in to the Battle.net servers. And Liar, there are still issues with logging in... I thought I'd take a nap then get up and play some more, but Blizzard decided I should do something else.

I purchased it presale, and took forever to install. I played the game a little today. While the game is fun, it is nowhere near the hype. Usually, that's how it is.

I chose barbarian. I am kind of bummed because I cannot choose how to make my character look. Oh well, cannot have it all.

I've got a barbarian named "sharpeater" which was the name of my very first Diablo 2 account I made when I was 13 years old.

The "error 37" message is the result of the Diablo 3 servers being over-capacity. I had this exact same problem logging into my battle.net account.

Blizzard stated that will be performing emergency maintenance on the servers to resolve these issues. They should be back up and running within an hour or so..

The system requirements for Diablo 3 are not substantially high.
