Apparently that soldier that had the hell beat out of him in Tampa a couple of days ago by black youths, was white. So, I guess we don't have a hate crime, just a hush crime.

Any evidence that was a hate crime? Considering as you're well aware of the amount of black on black and black on brown violence I think it's safe to some extent to say blacks of a certain income, upbringing and age bracket show a high probability for violent crime. When roughly 80% of the population is white it's quite possible that a large amount of black on white crime isn't aimed at whites specifically. If a black or a mexican or an asian had been there it would have happened to them. Due to the same numbers the opposite really isn't true.

It very well can be a hate crime. I'm quite certain that black on white hate crime happens and probably more often than gets reported. But I walk out of my office and shoot the first five people I see I'd be lucky to get a minority.
