Rev. Jesse Lee Patterson, head of the conservative Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND) and an occasional guest of Sean Hannity, says "one of the greates mistakes America ever made" was giving women the vote. (He's black, BTW; and does not seem to think slavery or any of its consequences worthy of mention as greatest-mistakes of America's, here.)

"We should have never turned [the vote] over to women," Peterson said during the sermon. "And these women are voting for the wrong people. They're voting for people who are evil, who agree with them, who are gonna take us down the pathway of destruction."

The misogynistic tirade continued, with the reverend warning againt women in positions of power because they "freak out” and “go nuts" if confronted with an issue.

"They can't handle stress. They can't handle anything,” he said. “You walk up to them with an issue, they freak out right away. Especially if they can't get the problem resolved right away … they go nuts. They get mad. They get upset. Because it's not in their nature. They don’t have patience. They don't have love."

He said wherever women are in control, evil finds its way through, referencing homosexuality and gay marriage as examples.

”Wherever woman reins, evil is taking over," he said.

Oh, yes, that's what everybody says about women, that they have no love or patience.

You did say he was black...

Another example of incompetence in a position that far overwhelms.

We all know another "one" who gives testament to this thesis daily.:rose:

Hannity admires some real nut jobs, like Pat Robertson (whom he calls a "great American!") who believes the US deserved the 9-11 attacks.

Oreo, what difference does it make that the guy is black?

Liberals accuse conservatives of being racists when in fact they're the ones who are constantly labeling people.

Well, if you read the article you'd see it as relevant since he says "thank god for slavery" because it brought blacks to the US, as if that was the only way they got here.
I'm guessing that most blacks don't hold the same view. Of course I could be wrong and in fact most blacks pray to god thanking him for slavery.

Of course they do. There is an entire liberal political strategy built upon keeping the memories of slavery alive as if it were unique to the black experience...

Maybe that's because it is unique in the history of the US since blacks were pretty much the only people who were subjected to an entire industry built on involuntary servitude based solely on their skin color.

Between approximately1720 and 1770 some 58,000 white British criminals were transported to the Americas where they were sold for the term of their sentences, some of those sentences being for life. After American independence similar criminals were mainly sent to Australia,
