Why is there an age limit in erotica?

I really don't understand the age limit in erotica, especially when there is a category called Incest/Taboo. I submitted a story with an underage character and it was rejected. So I resubmitted with references to her age deleted and we'll see if it gets approved...

I understand that it's disgusting. And trust me, my story is appallingly wrong on many different levels. However, just because someone (or everyone) is opposed to it morally, should it be illegal? I think that in the world fantasy and FICTION, anything should be acceptable. If a person doesn't want to read something, they can simply put it down and move onto another story.

That being said, does anyone know of any sites that do allow story submissions with underage characters? I'd love to post my story in its original, unedited state.

You can push for statutory in Ky if you're under 18, but you have to push it. Your parents can't. There's apparently a difference between "age of consent" and "being legal".
