Ok..need a new automatic pool vacuum. I have tried the expensive haywards, but I need something without wheels. My pool is surrounded by small rocks and they fuck up the wheels.....

any suggestions?

edit: besides spelling vacuum correctly?

"Child Disemboweled by Pool Drain"

A 6-year-old girl has been hospitalized after a horrifying accident at a swimming pool, when she sat on an open drain and a powerful suction pump tore out part of her intestinal tract.

[From the author]

Purchase ten of them.

Don't worry about anything else except the water.

Sweet setup.

Widen the path around it, the rocks are too close to the pool anyways.

That's not your pool so why don't you post pics of your pool if you want real advice.

No, it is an example of dessert landscaping.... A picture of my actual pool means shit to the actual question. Some one has a self cleaner they like or they do not.

But as you asked so nice.

Deleted quoted picture per owners request because I'm sensative to others

Cancelling road trip. :(

Hire a pool guy.
Better yet, hire a pool girl!
You'd be doing your bit for unemployment too :D

So hire an ugly/fat/old one.
Jesus, do I have to do all the thinking?

Ha! I was joking, actually not only am I too lazy to read reviews I am also too cheap to pay a pool guy when I can do it myself. Apparently I am also stupid enough to think someone on here may have a good suggestion.... In summary I am cheap, lazy, and stupid. It is a dam good thing I am pretty.

stock the pool with fish and plant an ecologically balanced margin with aquatic plants.

I was answering a question posed by someone that I assumed was a man.

I have one of these that doesn't have wheels. It has little cork feet (different feet depending on the pool type) that walk along the pool.

I have no idea how it would do with rocks however.
It works well. At least it did until a tree root grew through the pipe from the skimmer.

I sell these for a living. Trust me, that Navigator is a waste of $400.

You want something worth it, that won't tie up the skimmer?

Maytronics Dolphin Deluxe 4

Don't waste your money on the 5, and the 3 is a 4 without a float arm. 3 year warranty, and a 90%+ satisfaction rating. You'd have to be a real dumbass to have trouble with this cleaner, and yes, I have met some.
