Years ago Colorado had fires all over the place. Smoke from the fires filled Denver. I was driving east on I70 and they guy in the car next to me was wearing a respirator.

We were way down on snow pack this year. The skiing sucked. That trend has continued into the spring and most likely the summer.

Droughts suck.

Sounds like summer in Fairbanks.....

We've had smoke in Anchorage from some fires, too.

Makes the best summer sunsets, though. We get a lot of high altitude smoke from Siberia.

The Swanson River fire and the Beaver Creek Fire severely impacted my life when I was in high school.
