Got any road trips planned for summer travel season?

We're a bit early, but PA is beautiful in the spring time. Had to drive through miles of boring Ohio to get here though. I slept through Indiana, so that wasn't so bad. I know Illinois is the land of flatlanders but they really need to share that name with the poot people who live in Ohio.

As for PA, I could live here if I had to. Not sure about winter on some of these roads, but this time of year they are fine. People are very friendly and the mountains are beautiful.

Miami, as usual. Probably a few long weekends to my favorite B&B in St. Michael's, Md.

I want to go to Louisville, Memphis, Austin, Detroit, and Toronto... but I sincerely doubt that I'll make it to even half of those this summer...

Ok, let's be real; I'll be lucky if I find the time to make it to one.

Put those all in one road trip and you have the summer booked!

Traveling to riding competitions.

Actually as much as possible, waving bye to the wimmin' as they head off to riding competitions...

Savannah is the place I go Spring and Autumn. The rest of America is the same McDonalds and Home Depots.

We're driving to Amelia Island, FL in September. Lots of mini-road trips planned for shows and festivals in the meantime.

Just did an air trip with 800 miles of road tripping when I got there.
The rest of the summer will just be day trips.

Hey VBM...is it really true that them planes are allowed to fly within 1000 feet of each other at 38,000 ft...seemed kinda close to me:eek:

No vacations for me this summer. All work and no play...

the way my car has been acting up, i doubt there will be any long road trips this summer. :(

I am planning several trips this year. Eastern shore, western shore, Ozarks, Gulf of Mexico.
