Obama is a badass!

Which presidential candidate has gotten the most negative coverage in the press during this year’s primary? According to content analysis by the Pew Research Center, it’s President Obama.

The benefits of residing in the White House, and the so-called bully pulpit that it provides, were outweighed by the sheer number of voices attacking Obama and his policies during the primary, the analysis found.

“There were seven people at the outset running for his job, and numerous people on the stump criticizing the president,” said Tom Rosenstiel, director of Pew’s Project for Excellence in Journalism.

The press in turn, he said, follows each of the candidates and their surrogates’ messaging, providing a number of opinions running counter to the president’s singular voice.

What impact will Obamacare have on the deficit?

“Critics of the Affordable Care Act keep insisting that the law will increase the deficit. But the best evidence we have, from the most trusted authorities we have, suggests that those critics are wrong – and that the law, if anything, will reduce the deficit.

I know that many people find that difficult to believe. But, really, it’s neither complicated nor far-fetched. The law spends a lot of money, in order to make Medicaid available to more people and to provide subsidies for lower- and middle-income Americans buying private insurance. But it also finds a lot of money to pay for those new expenditures—mainly by raising some taxes, mostly on very wealthy people, and then reducing the cost of Medicare, mostly through cuts designed to eliminate corporate welfare or foster more efficient treatment.”

THE president who won the Nobel Peace Prize less than nine months after his inauguration has turned out to be one of the most militarily aggressive American leaders in decades.

I liked the thread, just thought it could use some real.

Mr. Obama decimated Al Qaeda’s leadership. He overthrew the Libyan dictator. He ramped up drone attacks in Pakistan, waged effective covert wars in Yemen and Somalia and authorized a threefold increase in the number of American troops in Afghanistan. He became the first president to authorize the assassination of a United States citizen, Anwar al-Awlaki, who was born in New Mexico and played an operational role in Al Qaeda, and was killed in an American drone strike in Yemen. And, of course, Mr. Obama ordered and oversaw the Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

If you voted for Obama in '08 to prove you aren't a racist, who are you going to vote for in 2012 to prove you aren't an idiot?

Nobody voted Obama to prove they weren't racists. They did so to prove they weren't idiots. This year they'll prove they aren't racists and nor are they idiots.

In my lifetime I've never heard open discussions by people of means leaving the country. until now.

And you're wrong, many voted him in for no other reason than white guilt. It worked in '08, I don't think the race card is in so much play this year.

We're going to see, aren't we? And if he loses then you're going to be an idiot along with being a racist.

"People of means" who would decide to leave this country are too stupid to deserve to stay. We have among the lowest personal tax rates in the world, especially for the wealthy. If they want to go elsewhere, let 'em go.

Everyone talks about 'moving to Canada' if so-and-so president gets reelected, and always has. What you've 'heard open discussion of' is meaningless, clearly.

Also, has anyone mentioned lately that you're one uninformed dweeb of a mug?

Wow, what bullshit. Are you so young that you don't remember when Reagan was elected? Or did you just not listen to people then?

So why are you still here?

Do you not have the means?

You know, according to your own ideology... that indicates that you're a failure.

Do you have real evidence of this white guilt? It sounds more like a hunch to me.

I know I've certainly underestimated the Statist-in-Chief...

...why, just today, I learned that the global war on terror is over.

What still confuses me about that is, though, if true why is the Obama administration so draconian in establishing America as the battlefield now in the war on terror which - again - is supposed to be over...

Bin Laden's Failure: How Islamists and the U.S. Ended His War With the West

In halting the global war on terror and engaging with Islamist political parties, Obama has helped create a world that the terrorist leader would hardly recognize.

"The war on terror is over," one senior State Department official who works on Mideast issues told me.

You definitely seem confused.

You need to get out of the house more.
