The republicans war on women blurt thread

I did, you're to benighted to pick up on it.

You tossed out your theory and told me to do the leg work:rolleyes: If you want to back that up with actual evidence, I would be willing to admit that the democrats of those cities have made them less safe for women.

Over 40 million human lives have been murdered since 1973...

...directly attributed to one "law" championed overwhelmingly by Democrat Party women and men.

At least half - over 20 million - of those murdered were female...

...that's just not your "anti-womens rights", for there exists no other "law" that's more blatantly anti-woman life.

But, just as the overwhelming percentage of socialists everywhere...

...you will not "assault" that law in defense of those females killed either, will you?

When it comes down to winning women's votes for the GOP, this is definitely the argument to go with.

Keep telling them that the right to a safe abortion is an attack on women.

Do you think it's George Bush and the Republican's fault?

 What are you even talking about? I, have done no research on the individual cities Eyer mentioned, I have no idea why they have a high crime rates, or whether their elected representatives have had a direct positive or negative effect on crime.

Except for the title of the thread, I have made no statements about

"all republicans are to blame for everything bad that ever happens to a woman anywhere in the country"

Every one of my posts have been about specific laws/bills that were written and passed by republicans, that I personally see as an attack on female rights.

If you'd like to post what you feel is a recent law democrats passed thats anti-woman, feel free. OR if you want to debate a specific law that I posted that you feel Im misinformed about, or that really ISNT anti-woman, in your opinion, that would be fine too.

But falling back on the "shes blaming Bush", when not once, have I ever mentioned him in this thread, just makes you seem desperate or lost. Maybe both.

1. Politicians campaign to "win" votes...

...I am not one.

2. The "GOP" is going to be as enjoyable to watch crash and burn...

...as it will be watching the DNC do the same.

3. All innocent human life has the inherent, natural "right" to live...

...the intentional taking of innocent human life is murder.

Anyone who faithfully disagrees is either an enemy of that most precious of all individual liberties, a champion of murder, and/or a murderer themselves, because without their intervention, life would proceed as it's naturally ordained to do.

These enemies and champions of murder and murderers themselves all endeavor to "claim" some "attack on women"...

...when they, themselves, intentionally refuse to acknowledge the humanity of the life that will be naturally born if they don't step-in and murder it first.

Such murderers don't get a vote in the anarchy which naturally results from such craven lawlessness...

...welcome to the meltdown, baby buddha.

Ah, I understand now. Thank you Eyer.

So:

How's it feel to totally deny females the most natural of all human rights, life itself...

...while posing to champion the more important "rights" to get taxpayer-forcefully-funded breast exams and pap smears?

I know youve been a Lit member forever and an age, so Im assuming youve debated pro-life/pro-choice before, but I think you should start a thread. Honestly. Im always interested in peoples opinions on controversial issues, people always have a way of surprising me.

I dont plan to start a big long debate here, although I concede that if you are fervently pro-life, then the large increase in anti-choice bills, can only be seen as a positive.

Clearly, anyone who is pro-choice, is denying all females the "most natural of all human rights"

I stand corrected:rolleyes:

There's no war on women just like there's no war on Christmas. It's a dumb way of looking at things because by viewing it as a direct intentional assualt you're missing the fact that it's a way of thinking which is much more dangerous than any "war."
By going after individual laws you're doing nothing to change how people think or view the world which is the real problem.
Automatically putting people on the defensive by calling it a war just makes things harder.

3. All innocent human life has the inherent, natural "right" to live...

You're on record here for stating that you've never used a condom in your entire sexual history, ever.

How many innocent human lives did you "inherently and naturally" create during that time period? How many STDs did you "inherently and naturally" transmit from being a germ vector?

If you were lucky enough not to knock up or germ up any of your sexual conquests, whose responsibility did it fall upon to make sure you enjoyed your bareback satisfaction to the fullest without you having to bite the bullet for being a daddy nine months later or needing weekly visits to the free clinic for your VD screening and penicillin pills?

Sure as hell wasn't you. The ones taking that responsibility, the rights and access to meeting that responsibility, they're the ones this thread is talking about, here.

I actually mostly agree. I admit I titled the thread war on women just to irritate people. I do not believe republican lawmakers hate women, nor do I think they are passing these laws believing they are anti-women.

Actually you posted too many links to the Huffpo to be credible, that being two, and the other one is a dead link. The first of your concerns involves a law that pertains to men and women, so right there a third of your assertions are suspect. Your supporting links are suspect. in short, the thread sucks big lumps. So with that in mind I thought I'd add some well deserved derision to balance out the toadying suck ups.:D

Still feeling the pain over that fail of a "new Muslim necrophilia law" thread that went triple lead on the Billboard charts, eh? :D

I strongly dislike when people use the term 'war' in this context. War is fucking horrible shit and has nothing to do with these policies.

I know, not a law yet

"The GOP-led House’s version of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) would not only strip away Senate-passed protections for undocumented, LGBT, and Native American victims, it also contains a dangerous provision that violates an undocumented victim’s confidentiality by allowing immigration officials to speak with, and ask for evidence from, his or her abuser."

Because its always a good idea to alert the abuser that their victim is seeking help:rolleyes:

What the fuck do you know about innocence?

I agree that intentional taking of a human life is murder, but innocence has nothing to do with it. We kill the people who cause us trouble. They maybe terrorists or unborn babies. All that matters is how much trouble they cause.

The GOP wants women to endure more trouble because the don't care about women's troubles.

If you want to be a hero, go adopt a couple unwanted babies. Feed them and clothe them until they are old enough to have babies of their own. You'll be saving an innocent lives. It's much more effective than talking about it.

There is not going to be any kind of melt down, because all the people who want to see it, just talk about it. They never actually do anything. They let the rest of us take care of the troubles.

I got a good one, but I didn't read through the whole thread, so if someone already brought it up, please disregard.

So sometimes people say shit

And you’re just like,What the fuck were you thinking?

Take Ann Romney, the Republican presidential candidate’s wife. Now, when your mate is running for office, you know, for a fact, that you’re going to be judged, along with your entire family. Now her man, Mitch, already has enough opposition with female voters because he supports a bunch of crazy woman-hating policies that we shouldn’t even be discussing in this day and age, like allowing healthcare companies to forgo covering “contraception” to treat endometreosis or, you know, CANCER, and his support of laws that would waste a fuck-ton of money giving out unnecessary ultrasounds, money we don’t really have, and so on and so forth. My point is, the guy doesn’t need any more bad publicity.

And then his wife, who has admitted in the past to never having worked a job a day in her life, who has no sympathy for working mothers who work so hard to raise their children simply because she didn’t have to, who has a ridiculous number of children in an already overpopulated world- I can’t stand breeders anyway, we already have a resource scarcity on this planet, goes and says something monumentally stupid like this;

“Why should women be paid equal to men? Men have been in the working world a lot longer and deserve to be paid at a higher rate. Heck, I’m a working mom and I’m not paid a dime. I depend on my husband to provide for me and my family, as should most women… and if a woman does work, she should be happy just to be out there in the working world and quit complaining that she’s not making as much as her male counterparts. I mean really, all this wanting to be equal nonsense is going to be detrimental to the future of women everywhere. Who’s going to want to hire a woman, or for that matter, even marry a woman who thinks she is the same, if not better than a man at any job. It’s almost laughable. C’mon now ladies, are you with me on this?”

Those are her actual words. And she said this- in front of people. And not just anyone, a gathering of women. Honey… what the fuck were you thinking? You’re not an idiot. You have a college degree. You had to know that you done fucked up on the first sentence. That’s when you backtrack and try to fix it, you don’t just keep going. Even if you believe something that stupid, you do not say it when your man is runningfor president!! Bitch, you don’t have a job. You got nothing for him to fall back on. You need him to get this job. Just… what the fuck were you thinking?

Lord have mercy… Anyhoo, if you want to read more about it, check this here link: http://www.freewoodpost.com/2012/04/18/ann-romney-why-should-women-be-paid-equal-to-men/

Sorry my southern bell is ringing so hard as I write this, I realize that I’ve used a lot of local dialect in this, but when I see something so monumentally stupid, real English just fails me, and I fall back into, “Well bless her little heart” mode. Because seriously… bless her little heart. What the hell was she thinking?
