Need an editor

I'm a bit of a perfectionist and don't consider myself a very good writer. However, I do try and, in my opinion, have pretty good ideas for stories. The one I'm looking for an editor for is my fist story (that I plan on submitting). It's about a woman who has had a very hard life and works way too hard to make a good life for her son. She meets a doctor who falls in love with her and changes her life for the better. Obviously, it's a romance. I'm planning on it being a slow moving story with several small chapters. I'm looking for someone who can stay with the story until it's completed and can help me with writing, grammer, and spelling. I'm writing the story on Microsoft Word 2010.

Here's a bit of the beginning:
"Shirley stared at her mother in shock. She couldn’t believe what the woman had just uttered and, judging from the look on her face, she meant it. Shirley glanced at her father whose expression mirrored that of her mother’s. A part of Shirley wasn’t a bit surprised, after all, she’d always known her parents hated her; they’d never made a secret out of that. They had neither loved nor wanted her; they had merely tolerated her and she in turn them. On the other hand, kicking her out of the house and their lives?
Shirley had just come home from school. Her mother and father had opened the door and told her to leave and never come back before she had even made it to the front steps. She could tell her parents were serious, but kicking a twelve year old out of the house! Shirley had been to see the doctor before she came home from school yesterday. He told her he’d call as soon as the results from her blood test came back. Without asking, Shirley knew they had……and what the results were."
