im sure you all get asked this al the time by newbies to this sight but, i understand that it shows veiws for my story i just wrote even though its pending still because editors are reading it but why so many views? its up to 58 views last time i checked on it and its only been about two days. so my main question is why does it get viewed so many times while still pending?

It is a known flaw in the software. It shows false views while pending. It doesn't necessarily mean that anyone has actually looked at your story yet.

Just ignore it.

It says virgin under your name cus you're new. I think you need something like one hundred posts before it changes to really experienced and then at some point you can change it manually.

Is that really how it works? I'd always assumed that had something to do with the censors/quality control.

your story needs a shitload of editing.

Take me, for instance. I've been here 10+ years and have been deflowered many times. Wouldn't you know it, minutes after I post my prior message to you, someone PMs me with the phrase "So I installed a new gear shift in the car..."

Since the sender has been on Lit. for a handful of years, I'm not inclined to read his PM, so I deleted it.
