The America the current government, media, and ruling elite believe in would be unrecognizable to past generations. Its about time we criticize these establishment thugs and criminals.

I don't live in Alaska and Palin was never a canidate that could be voted for in a national election.

What exactly is a douche pimple?

Here are just some of the police state behaviors we've witnessed the government engaging in over the past 10 years.

*Unprecedented censorship and assaults on journalists
*Arrests of nonviolent political activists
*Domestic spying and intelligence-gathering
*Vicious attacks on nonviolent protestors
*illegal suppression of free speech
*MASSIVE watchlists for political dissenters which include over 1,000,000 names
*Psychological warfare and forced sexual humiliation at airports
*Excessive number of hidden security cameras placed throughout the country (tens of millions of them)
*Militarization and federalization of local/county/state law enforcement
*Legalization of torture
*The existence of a secret paramilitary national security force which operates outside the law (blackwater)
*The existence of a secret prison system for political prisoners (FEMA detention camps)
*Human rights violations

These are things you would typically encounter in a totalitarian society. The closest historical thing this can be compared to is old east-germany and the "stasi" secret police apparatus.

All of this is allegedly being done in the name of the laughably dubious and fraudulent "war on terrorism". But why does the government have it's cameras facing inwards on it's own citizens, and not outwards on foreign threats and international terrorists.

Also, these activities are exactly parallel to what was happening in Germany during the early 1930's shortly before the Nazi party took power of German parliament. And in the early 1900's after the Soviets overthrew the Bolsheviks in Russia.

I don't think we've quite gotten to the point where the US can outright be compared to Nazi Germany. But we might be able to make that comparison in about 30-40 years if things continue going in the current direction.

Please, listen to Naomi Wolf very carefully throughout her 47-minute lecture. She makes many valid points. Freedom and democracy in the United States are quickly disintegrating into fascism. Naomi is a very intelligent and well-educated woman, she knows precisely what she's talking about.

Much as I hate to admit it, several of my relatives are former Nazi's, with a few being high-ranking members of the SS.
I can honestly say- America is NOTHING like Nazi Germany.
Not even close.
