Godfather 2: Who opened the blinds?

Some people wrongly assert that it was Fredo, but Fredo was stupid and weak; it's not in his character to knowingly assist in the assassination of his brother. But we know Fredo betrayed Michael - so what's the nature of his betrayal? And who killed the assassins, found dead in the ditch?

I think the answer must be that Fredo brought someone in, knowing him to be Roth's man, but under the pretense he was just there to spy on Michael. That man was the one who opened the blinds, and who killed the assassins after they failed their mission. No other explanation makes sense.

Why do men find that particular genre so fascinating? No horses were actually harmed in the making of that movie...or were they?

the first godfather movies are great and that has nothing to do with their genre.

same for scarface except in the opposite manner. it's terrible, but that has nothing to do with the gangster bullshit. it's terrible because it's just not a very good movie. also, the hype and the shitty soundtrack, but i'd rather not get started on the many, many reasons why i fucking hate that fucking piece of movie scarface.

Scarface is a terrible movie. Possibly the most overrated movie of the last 30 years or so.
Godfather parts I and II are brilliant. The second is my personal favorite.
Also, Fredo was a bitch.

Agree. I blame that film for what Al Pacino's become since. He turned in a WONDERFULLY understated performance as Michael Corleone and ever since he's been an over the top hack.
