*A young woman in a fantasy setting, learning the magical craft and trying, with a local farmer, to save their village from various problems.

*A woman who, against her better judgement, attends a high school reunion. She was the most popular girl in school and now her life couldn't be more different. She bumps into a fellow student whose life has changed rather a lot too.

*A female maitre'd from a top restaurant kidnapped by a psychopath who is currently causing mayhem and chaos all over the city.

*An 18th century young woman who in the middle of many things going wrong in her life, finds herself trapped on board one of His Majesty's ships bound for Australia, who has to hide her gender to try and keep herself safe

*A British PR advisor who arrives in Australia to help ‘smooth over’ some local problems

*The wife of a rich, hot shot businessman who is about to be blackmailed

Interesting, from the poll it seems that around 70% of the people who voted have seven or less threads at once, and the sweet spot is two to seven. Let's see how the poll goes with more votes.

Although I, myself, have been dragged up into the RW to deal with my life currently, I like to pop in and comment every now and then

I actually have five threads currently (I think) but receive no pressure from my co writers, I am so grateful to have such wonderful co writers! When I post, I post and if they don't respond then it is of mutual understanding that we are/have both busy RL's and they require our focus first and foremost.

Sometimes I do miss writing though, my life has changed greatly over the past year and I love to come back here and at least try to catch up with all my friends.

I don't think there's any time limit on a good thread, some can go six months without a post at a time and never die! It just depends upon the writers desires to return to it, when it's good, it's fucking gold!

Right now, and being conservative in my counting, I have 20 [holy crap - I have that many?!?] active threads. Some are on slower cycles than others, some are on pause so the other writer can deal with pressing RL issues.

Following in the footsteps of a few of the previous posters, my current characters are... ( in no particular order )

* A Nephilim, son of an Incubus, who has encountered a woman that keeps drawing him back to her, and is somehow meshed in with a task he has to do...

* A vampire who has found a woman that is bringing out the long lost human aspects of himself, and is searching for the reason why she is able to do that...

* A young farmer who wishes to be a warrior hero that has teamed up with a young woman secretly learning the Arcane Arts in defending their home from assorted threats...

* A man seeking revenge against parties who wronged him who, instead of killing her as ge planned, took the woman back to use her to sate his other pressing needs...

* A prisoner being transported between facilities escapes after the vehicle crashes, only to be taken in by a woman who knows nothing about who, or what he really is...

* An old vampire who took a liking to a woman hunter and is slowing showing her how much she likes the darker side of sex, whether she wants to know or not...

* A worn out soldier who found letters from a woman to her husband that led him to where she was. Along the way, he grew attracted to her from the letters, and they are now forced to live together as if husband and wife...

* A Sidhe who has been called by a human witch, who has decided that he wants a plaything, and she is going to be it...

* A Psychiatrist who buys a young woman raised to be a slave to test his theories about reeducating her to fit back into society. But the young woman's innocence and natural desire to be what she is proves to be the greatest threat to his experiment as he tries not to get too involved with the test subject...

* A Dom kidnaps a Domme to teach her a lesson after her rejection if his younger brother leads to the younger man's death. He has her on the back foot, but she has the home ground advantage...

* A Viking warrior stole the daughter of the Jarl he was betrayed by, turning her into his own personal sex slave with the hope of showing the Jarl before the warlord dies...

* A rich man with a trophy wife starts to dominate her after catching her in an affair. It was that, or they divorce and she is left with nothing...

* A stereotypical high school nerd returns for a 10 year reunion to show how much he has changed, and encounters one of the more popular girls from school with something to hide. Secrets are revealed, and they finds things a quite different now to what they were like back then...

* A new boss discovers that one of his co workers likes a man to takes charge, and he does just that, to the pleasure of both parties...

* A King is slowly falling in love with a newly arrived young lady in his Court, while his own political marriage starts to change into something less cold...

* A man who kidnaps a woman who has been playing his sub online so he can make it real. But there is more to what he's doing than meets the eye...

* A Lupus Garou forcibly takes a homid kinfolk as his mate, so he can learn more about the homids... (WoD - Werewolf: The Apocalypse based)

* A FBI profiler who has become rather distant from other people is befriended by a newcomer to the city who wants to draw him out of his shell...

* A Roman Legate who caught a notorious leader of a band of warrior women, and methodically introduced her to her new life as a roman slave...

* A grownup Redcap "streetkid" who has a great, lusty appreciation for a Rabbit Pooka who may or may not share the same feelings... (WoD - Changeling: The Dreaming based)

Thanks for the input Marauder, but wow 20 threads? I have no idea how you can keep up with all that, or how you can remember what each character feels like. But your writing ability is so high, so no wonder people want to write with you
