Is it even scientifically possible to construct such a monolithic structure? No my knowledge, nothing like this has ever been attempted before...

The tallest structure in the world is currently the Burj Dubai. And there are plans to build buildings that are several times taller!

Structural engineering has gone mad!

Off-topic, but NASA plans to build a tower that stretches into space! I am not kidding!
