art...

i find art in various mediums to be inspiring... evoking just about every emotion one could imagine... here are some pieces that have moved me...

Malgorzata Ludwiczak ~ passionate love... speaks for itself

O'Keefe...her flowers have always been so erotic to me...

Any of Degas' nudes... beautiful bodies and simple subject matter...

Kandinsky... his work needs to be seen in a gallery... 2D just really doesn't do it... the colors are vibrant... the lines crisp... it seems as though anyone could put lines and shapes and color on a page... but he makes it come alive...

Chagall Windows... Union Church - Hudson River Valley Depth of color, amazing amount of detail... seeing them installed in old architecture (the ones in france must be stunning) with the morning light shining through was amazing...

I saw the following piece in the Denver Museum of art back in 1988ish... I couldn't tear my eyes away for the longest time... sure she'd move... it's Linda by John DeAndrea...
