When you die, you simply lose consciousness and sign out into blackness, for eternity.

It is just like being asleep without having any dream. Absolutely no cognition whatsoever!

This notion is an extremely difficult if not impossible pill to swallow for people who are dying and are on their death beds.

However, I swear I will take this belief to my grave. I'll be thinking hell, at least I got to see Susan Slaughter's boobies.

The afterlife doesn't exist outside of theology and wishful thinking.

And don't even get me started on god and religion!

Speaking from personal experience? how many times have you been dead now?

Litster Warrior Queen (perhaps I'm mistaking her for another litster) was dead for a few minutes and was resuscitated by medics. She claims that during the time her heart was stopped, it was just like "being asleep". She had no recollection whatsoever!

I'm not sure the exact details, ask her about it.

So I would assume that this is what it is like being dead, for eternity!

I've always thought being dead was kind of like being unconscious. At least, I hoped it would. An absence of pain, an absence of turmoil, an absence of torture and evil and the blinding light of day- a comforting darkness like a deep sleep *reads over what he just wrote*

Oh fucking hell, I'm gonna go cry black and cut my arms- or just read JTHM and listen to Disposable Teens as if it were 6 years ago. WTF is wrong with me? I seriously wrote that first paragrah being serious. Jesus Fucking Christ, Candi. *shakes head*

I gotta go knit this out.

You got to see Susan Slaughter in person.

Wait - you're using me as an example?
Have you considered that as an unbeliever, I may have gone to purgatory?

Great news for you, Mike! At least you won't be dumb in your state of afterlife nothingness.
