Spike Lee Won’t Apologize For Sending Elderly Florida Couple Fleeing For Their Lives After He Tweeted Their Address Saying It Was Zimmerman…

Why am I not surprised?

Via Fox Nation:

Late last week, Spike Lee re-tweeted the address of ‘George Zimmerman’ to his quarter of a million followers.

Except it was the wrong address. It was the address of an elderly Florida couple whose son. . . William George Zimmerman (no relation to shooter) — lived briefly there in 1995. Now the 70-year-old school cafeteria lunch lady with a heart condition and her 72-year-old husband have been forced to move out of danger into a hotel temporarily after receiving hate mail, threats, harassing visits from reporters and fearful inquiries from neighbors.

The woman’s other son Chip Humble told the Orlando Sentinel, “It’s scary because there are people who aren’t mentally right and will take this information and run with it. To endanger people who are innocent because people are angry is not the answer. That’s not how we’re going to heal. It’s not [going] to help the Martin family for someone else to be hurt.”

The O’Reilly Factor contacted Spike Lee’s production company “40 Acres and a Mule.” Instead of issuing a statement or an apology, the executive office told Factor producer Jesse Watters that Spike Lee had “no comment.” That’s it. The famous filmmaker is coming under heavy pressure on Twitter to apologize. Lee’s tweet has been removed, but it continues to be retweeted.

If Trayvon was an innocent lamb, why did he twitter as "NO-LIMIT-NIGGA" and have a burglary tool plus 12 pieces of women's jewelry in his backpack?

Obviously, Zim exceeded the Neighborhood Watch mandate, but Trayvon may well have been casing houses for future burglary while walking.

Alveda King: Sharpton, Jackson should stop ‘playing race card’ over Trayvon Martin

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece is criticizing the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson for politicizing the Trayvon Martin shooting and leveraging racial tensions to rile up Americans.

Conservative activist Dr. Alveda King, now the director of African-American outreach at Priests for Life and the founder of King For America, said she hopes Sharpton and Jackson stop “stirring up the people without positive solutions” in Sanford, Fla., and elsewhere in the U.S.

“I would believe that, by stirring up all of the emotions and reactions, I wanted to encourage them to remember the man that they say that they followed, to remember that his message was nonviolence and very loving,” King told The Daily Caller, referencing her late uncle. She added that she wanted to encourage Jackson and Sharpton “to talk about nonviolence and not to incite people with that race card that they are very good at playing.”

“Nonviolence was a very important part of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr,” she added. “So, we want to encourage people to be nonviolent in their responses, to be thorough in their research and that justice must be done…We want justice to come, but we want nonviolent responses to this really tragic and terrible incident.”

King hasn’t made up her mind about the facts of this case and who is responsible for what, but believes there should be a full investigation. She told TheDC that she agrees with former Republican presidential candidate and businessman Herman Cain, however, who has asked for a full investigation instead of “swirling rhetoric.”

“I believe that it should be thoroughly investigated,” she told TheDC. “I believe that it should be discovered whether there was undue force. If Trayvon did work to defend himself, he was not armed and so that is an unfair fight right there. Trayvon was not armed and the man who shot him was. So there is a possibility of undue force.”

She said her heart goes out to Trayvon Martin’s family and she understands what they’re going through. “I’m very concerned about Trayvon’s family,” King said. “I’m praying as well, and many members of my family are as well… Several of us have experienced death of family members by shooting.”

“My grandmother, Mama King, Alberta Williams King, was shot in Ebenezer Baptist Church,” King continued. “My uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., of course, was shot. And, then, my dad [Alfred Daniel Williams King] was killed the next year, drowned in a swimming pool. So, we are not unfamiliar with these kinds of shocks and tragedies to a family. And, so, my first thought is to pray for the family.”

King hopes Americans won’t continue to “hype this up so much to a point and make all this big demonstrations. Of course, there should be an outrage and there should be an outcry. But, remember: There are many other young people who are at risk and many young people getting killed in violent situations.”

She said if her father, A.D. King, and uncle, Martin Luther King Jr., were still alive today, they would handle this tragedy much differently from how Sharpton and Jackson have so far.

“I remember when our home was bombed, and my dad went out to the people and he said, ‘please don’t riot, please don’t react violently, my family and I are alright,’” King said. “’If you have to hit anybody, hit me. So please, I’d rather you be nonviolent and don’t strike out.’ So, my uncle would urge a call for justice but he would also urge nonviolence in responses. He would do that, I can assure you he would.”

So "NO_LIMIT_NIGGA" merits a summary execution?

Also, he did not have a backpack on when he was murdered.

The question needs to be AXED

When "confronted".......by a neighborhood watch guy, any NORMAL person would say

Hey Bro, its all cool, Im on my way to.......(fill in the blank)

that he DIDNT

that he behaved like a THUG

that he attacked the person

tell me

NIGGA got his justice

Sourcing narrative “facts” in the Martin case

Posted by William A. Jacobson Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 11:02am

Perhaps readers can help me with this. There are two points which have been universally accepted as true in the media, but I have not been able to find evidence in the police and other records released by the City of Sanford.

1. Skittles and Ice Tea. One key part of the narrative of the Martin shooting is that Skittles and Arizona Ice Tea were being carried by Martin. This ABC News report is typical: “He [Martin] has no weapons on him, only a pack of Skittles and a bottle of iced tea.” The Sanford Police incident report makes no mention of finding such items. What is the source of this fact that Skittles and a bottle of ice tea were found with Martin?

2. Hoody. The Hoody has become the symbol of protests, based on the assertion that Zimmerman found Martin suspicious because he was wearing a hoody. But the audio tape (language warning) in which Zimmerman mentions a hoody is clear that a hoody was mentioned only after Zimmerman had described why Martin was suspicious, and in response to a later question by the 911 operator as to what the suspicious person was wearing. What is the source of this fact that Zimmerman found the wearing of a hoody suspicious?

I would appreciate reader input on this, and if readers identify the sources of these facts, I’ll update this post.

Update: Several commenters have sourced No. 1 (Skittles and ice tea) to the Martin family attorneys. I have e-mailed to attorneys requesting the basis for the statement. I’ll let you know if I hear back.

Would any of the KNOWN LIT NIGGERZ please explain this to me?

Thx

I think I'm going to start patrolling my town, armed. I'll confront anyone I think looks suspicious, and if they then feel threatened and/or attack me, I'll kill them.

Whatever. It's one more thing to focus on other than the incident. Soon they'll be jizzing because HIS FATHER ONCE KILLED A KITTY CAT!!! or some such.

He probably stole the jewelry that was in his backback. I don't care. I don't care if Zimmerman ever stole jewelry either.

I just want one person on the right to focus on the actual event, and to be bold enough to say: "Whatever went down, it is very likely that the reason Zimmerman thought Martin looked 'suspicious,' was because he was black. It's possible Martin swung first, it's possible Zimmerman stopped a rape from occurring ten minutes later. But the reason he noticed Martin in the first place, was because Martin was black."

Someone.

One person.

Grow balls.

This may be true, but I was under the impression that the neighborhood had families of several races. It may also be true that he just didn't know the kid. As an excop I know that racial profiling goes on, but that is not always a bad thing. All profiling does is reduce a sample. If you have a white male driving through an upscale black neighborhood, in a beat up vehicle, at 3 a.m., you would pull him over as he does not fit the profile of the area. You will do a field I.D. inquiry to ascertain what the subject is up to. It may be that he is lost and trying to find his way out of an area that has a lot of loops and dead ends at which point you help him find his way out. It may be that he is looking to burglarize a home or vehicle. Now as a black resident of the said upscale neighborhood, do you thank the police for preventing a burglary and possibly a killing, or do you decry the fact that race was one of the factors used in determining that the person was out of place? Profiling is just looking for that which is out of place, with race just one of the factors. Lets face it if you are trying to find a suicide bomber the odds say you are wasting your time looking at Blacks, Whites, or Latinos. But the chances of success are much greater if looking for someone of Middle Eastern desent.

What mall did you work at?

Zimmerman, fiancee beater and cop assaulter.

The three incidents took place in Orange County, Fla.

In 2005, Zimmerman, then 20, was arrested and charged with “resisting officer with violence” and “battery of law enforcement officer,” both which are third-degree felonies. The charge was reduced to “resisting officer without violence” and then waived when he entered an alcohol education program. Contemporaneous accounts indicate he shoved an officer who was questioning a friend for alleged underage drinking at an Orange County bar.

I never worked at a mall, but even if I did it would make no difference to my comment. Rob it is always the same with you. You offer no facts, you only name call and repeat racist rants.

That's okay, quite a number of guys wash out of the academy nowadays. Not everyone has what it takes to be a mall cop. The important thing is that you tried.

Would this be the same Zimmerman that Spike Lee outed..?..

Hmmm. Looks like it's the Zimmerman that killed Trayvon Martin, was let go almost immediately by police and refused to go to the hospital despite having a broken nose, bleeding neck and possible concussion due to his head being repeatedly slammed into the sidewalk, injuries that would otherwise require photographic records by law enforcement and prompt medical attention at a facility.

No, Trayvon's backpack was looked into after he was caught at school defacing property. It contained a burglary tool plus 12 items of women's jewelry.

Obviously, the point is what sort of a kid Trayvon was. Media outlets initially portrayed him as an innocent lamb, running a photo taken 5 years ago as if it were a current photo.

Inasmuch as the case is being adjudicated in the mass media, it becomes legitimate to inquire into Zimmerman's background, which isn't spotless either.

But nobody forced Trayvon to twitter under the name "NO-LIMIT-NIGGA." Nobody forced him to have a burglary tool and items of women's jewelry in his backpack.

Although Zimmerman clearly exceeded his Neighborhood Watch mandate, it begins to look like Trayvon was precisely the sort of burglar which a Neighborhood Watch volunteer should be alert for.

Sadly, in the instant case, the outcome was tragic.
