I've spent 24 years of my life being exposed to it on a 24/7 basis.
Exposure to second-hand smoke dramatically increases your chances of lung cancer and other respiratory diseases.
I understand the psychology behind a nicotine addiction, but do smokers take any consideration that their habit might affect the health of their children?
More than 90% of smokers smoke from the time they have their first cigarette, right up until their dying moments. They just can't stop them.
I guess my family is just another sad statistic.
If people are depressed and discontent with their lives and smoke to make themselves feel better, they shouldn't take it out on other people who DON'T smoke. They shouldn't inflict cancer, lung disease, and death on innocent people.
Let them destroy themselves, but leave me out of it!
