Yes, but he could not handle the pay cut.
Right now he gets about 2 mil a year. I think the highest Canadian players make somewhere near 100K a year. Flutie probably made more and I'm sure a few other high profile names did but no doubt they had to prove themselves first.

I'm withholding judgement on him right now. He surprised me last year. A lot. Could have been luck or the right guys around him, could have been the right amount of Tebowing, could have been a good QB. No way to really tell yet.

Sounds about right. I think Tebow would prefer to stay in the NFL since in Canada he would not be as well paid and would have to adapt to what is really a different game.
