Who is excited about that? Definitely not me, but grown men should just know better.

The rules of "good touch/bad touch" in the workplace are very clear.
Go get him, tiger!

I was only ever happy to fire one person in my life. I hated all the other times of which there were few and I'm thankful for that.

It is my least favorite part of my job. No doubt.

I've only had to fire three people and they all deserved it. One woman was fraudulently reporting she took home work, being paid for work she never even saw. Another person was a major time-off abuser who had been warned many times. The last was saying racist stuff and evaluating minorities she supervised consistently lower than their non-minority colleagues. And their work showed no reason to do that. But I hated every firing. It is not a good time.

I had one that made me feel all warm and happy inside. I even left early that day because I was in such a good mood. Well that and I didn't want to be there in case she came back with a gun. Always better to let the peons die in your stead.

My first season here I had to fire 3. One used to show up unexpectedly at my apartment complex. That was very unnerving.

OMG, you are so mean.

But I laughed.

Hell no, if I did the package I sent someone would have made it to him on time instead of 5 days late.

I had an employee, a much older guy, who had worked for me for quite a while fuck up majorly on a client site. I liked the guy, and put my ass on the line to keep him from getting fired. Three weeks later, he does the exact same fuckup again. I was beyond pissed off.

It played out exactly like the Tessio scene in the Godfather. "Can you get me off the hook, Rob? For old times' sake?" "Can't do it, pal"....

I don't think I've ever fired anyone. I quit paying people though. It usually only takes one or two pay periods before they stop showing up.

Tessio took it like a man.
Carlo could of learned from him.

I draw the line at getting shoved in to the side of a brick building. He's gone as of 10 minutes ago.

It is one of the few avs in which I'm smiling. I am not terribly photogenic.

You always take beautiful pics.

Not true! If I'm ever in your area I shall take a few for you. You're a beautiful woman.

(I hate my chubby cheeks when I smile, so I rarely take a pic like that!)

You've got me blushing here and thank you.
