I love weeding in the garden, it's so satisfying but I just spent an hour weeding my submissions - SUCH a chore!!!

Dear Tess, May I ask what ever happened to Rufous? I LOVED that poem.

hugs

You're very kind, Maria, I took out several poems with a Canadian flavour in the hopes of getting them accepted for publishing.

Best of luck, Tessie, in getting those poems placed.

Publishing is always a crap shoot, but you are an excellent poet and I expect you'll do well.

And I will second that. Please just let me know where to find them when they are placed. You remember Old Growth? LOL, I know you do....That was the very first poem I ever read on Lit. And it inspired me to write one that has now been lost forever. But I still would love to read Old Growth again.

Good Luck, Tess.

Thanks to both of you. I won't hear until May and already know the competition will be strong so I'm feeling pretty resigned already.

Maria, I honestly only remember that poem vaguely and, like yours, it is lost forever. Because of limitation set Rufous was not included.

I have my fingers crossed for you, PoeTesse. Your poems would class up any publication. :)
