Wheelchair lifts for swimming pools

Conservatives didn't leave the Republican party, the Republican party left us.

Just as the Democrat party left the true working class behind, in favor of the radical Marxists.

Then Conservatives need to get to the Libertarian Party and turn the Republicans into a rump party. I left the Democrat Party to the Socialists, Communists and other altruistic socialisms...

There's a reason there are no more Whigs running around.

For this to even come up, and as a political jab, is fucking sad.

Yes sir it is. Always some advocate at the political level wanting to fuck it up for everyone else.

Let those motherfuckers spend just one week, in the middle of the summer, responding to dumb ass calls concerning a public pool in an apartment community. I am glad I have not had to deal with that shit since I transferred to Ga.

Expect the government to mandate wheelchair accessible ladders soon.

There would be exactly zero trials. If a city was sued for not putting in a ramp in time they would not let it go to trial. There would be no reason.

In a logical, sensible world we like to think such things would not happen. Most people did not think McDonald's would be sued for serving hot coffee, but they were.

Fuck, it would not surprise me if someone sued a city for having water in a pool.

You're comparing frivolous suits to legit ones?

He might be getting at the "reasonable accommodation" standard. Sometimes though it's hard to suss out his point.

Fucker. :D

There's a clause that says pools don't need lifts if it would be difficult for the owner to afford.

In the name of "Fairness at any cost," Obama tried to force every public swimming pool in America to install two handicapped accessible entrances - wheelchair lifts or ramps, and the deadline was yesterday.

Fortunately the DOJ had the good sense to tell hundreds of thousands of pool owners, don't worry about the deadline.

And of course, the LibLoonz will chant to those of us who applaud the DOJ, "why do you hate cripples?"

Why would someone in a wheelchair go into a swimming pool?

I am saying I have dealt with the public on enforcing pool regulations in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. Most people are cool and not a problem. However, there are always a few assholes you have to baby sit so they will not fuck it up for everyone else.

I just applied for a $2 billion government grant to teach quads to swim.
