Government is created in man's image.
Government is community property waiting to be claimed.
Therefore government is greed and power to be used by whomever can seize it.

Men cannot always cooperate in harmony and competition leads to strife.
As individual men strive against each other and conflict, an impartial judge is required.
As individual men prosper, groups of men will plunder; individual men need self defense as a group.
Some men are evil and will freely impinge on the rights of other men and a method of redress is required.

Therefore, unfortunately, individual men must have a government.
Government should protect the rights of the individual.
Government should protect property and contracts.
Government cannot be charity or morality.

Government must be funded.
Proper taxation is without regard to status.
Proper taxation is tied to the prerogatives of Government.
Taxation must then be upon the forms of contract and adjudication of redress.

The first call to the positive interference of government leads both to an immediate good thing and the first community largess on which to make a claim.
Each successive call to positive government interference, save the last one, leads to competition and conflict decreasing the obvious good.
The last call to positive government interference is the call for a strong man to stop the squabbling and restore order.
The strong man's first call is for the abolition of all individuals and individual actions.

Selflessness is moral underpinning of the Epistemology of Altruism.
Self-sacrifice as a duty to others is immoral in the American Epistemology.
Self-sacrifice for Self-gain is moral only when it is a voluntary act; any group agreement driven by the Epistemology of Altruism is immoral.
When legalized theft in the name of the greater good has been moralized by the Epistemology of Altruism then it is a moral act to seize community largess in the name of Self.

So empiricism is an epistemology that is grounded in the belief that we can only acquire knowledge through experience and observation. Rationalism is an epistemology that is grounded in the belief that we can only acquire knowledge by revelation.

To compare this with, later, 'All government is evil.' How are the rights to own and pursue property to be enforced? By whom if not by some form of government? Under whose system of law? If the property is claimed as a result of past violence, has that violence been forgiven? If so, why?

The advocates of Altruism fall into two groups, those who rule in the name of Self and those who serve in the name of Altruism (duty and sacrifice).
The former will take, with impunity, as the right of rulers, from the largess of the community to satiate and reward themselves.
The latter will be given from the community largess only enough to temporarily sate their most basic needs.
Thus the Epistemology of Altruism leads to eventual voluntary Slavery.

I offer my thoughts as antithesis to the prevailing Kantian epistemologies that drive our Intelligentsia to believe that their reason lies to them and that they cannot trust their senses to define reality.
