FemDom, between 18 y.o. male (although he'll be 20 at least before the story arc is done) and 36 y.o. female.

Involves paddling, cropping, milking, orgasm denial, oral servicing. No humiliation, no public displays. No other sex partners.

Will also include a developing relationship that is dom/sub but also a love relationship.

Where would you put it?

I've worked places like that - it was a veterinarians ... do we have an animal section? ;)

All the joking aside, I'd venture to say this belongs in BDSM...

BDSM, but make sure you put femdom in the tags as femdom stories don;t go over well with everyone (insecure males raise your hands) so you want to let the reader know about what the story contains as much as you can.

BDSM, because fetish, to my mind, means watersports, leather, shoes, feet, and all that jazz.

The description is saying BDSM to me, and I would agree with prominently tagging it femdom.

Don't just tag it, put a warning at the top. Because the first few days people wont be reading the tags and might troll you anyway

Or just put it out there and don't slap all sorts of defensive labels on it that just act as a neon "Dump Here" sign on it . . .

Or if you're scared that it might not get a red H, just don't write it at all.

BDSM. There are quite a few femdom stories on lit, actually and they're all in BDSM.

Developing into a love relationship? Great! Have them get married, and put it in "Loving Wives.":D

I made a couple not be married, because they actually loved each other, even though they were swinging. I didn't want that in loving wives.

BDSM is another one of those categories where readers have a stronger trend toward utilizing the tags and author's notes as intended, rather than as signposts for auto-trolling. Not so much as some others in my observation, but on balance, you inform more readers who will appreciate the warning that the story is something they will or won't like than trolls who will blast it unread.

When the feedback and scores both indicate a positive result from the additional level of categorization, I see no problem with doing so.

Thank you

1. Funny about the veterinarian remark--it's set on a farm. No, no animals are involved in sexual activities!

2. I am leaning toward BDSM, but I don't see so much FemDom there, which made me think Fetish.

3. sr71plt--I can pretty much guarantee this has no chance of getting a red H. No worries there. But I'm having fun writing it. I just made my poor partner simulate something from the story so I could see how the positioning would really work. FemDom is NOT his thing. I told him it was all for the sake of art. ;-)

Very funny on the Loving Wives. Not going to happen...

Thanks for the feedback y'all.

A dominant woman is not a fetish. She is every bit as legitimate in BDSM as a dominant man.If you don't see much femdom in BDSM, put some in there, and start rectifying the situation. People will be very glad to read it, I assure you!

Why in the hell should anyone feel compelled to pussy foot around the sensitivities and squeamishness of anyone reading in the BDSM file? :D:rolleyes:

How surreal is that?

Because they want the higher scores that come with a preselected audience, of course.

Well, then, they, of course, should only write swarmy romances, and come on the forum and be very friendly and giggly, and promise to vote up the stories of others in exchange for voting theirs up. :D

(Not that that's what carlieplum is doing, of course. But I suggest just banging out what carlieplum wants to write, picking a category, and be damned with any pablum needers or nitpickers.)

there are people just DYING for female-led BDSM stories.

You could be saving someone's life, who knows?
;)

BDSM has some grey areas. There are levels and types of BDSM that appeal to different people

Femdom is the female equivalent to the male's non consent stories and it is not for everyone.

Tagging it thus, does not mean they're pussy footing it mans they are trying to draw the right people to it.

That is the purpose of tags in the first place right?

maybe people shouldn't tag incest as incest because it's pussy footing around.

Your problem is that BDSM is something you know absolutely nothing about. If you did you would understand the point here.

There you go again. My best-selling e-book, Dark Angel Sounding, is pretty serious BDSM. Several of my other best-selling e-books (like Vortex) are very serious BDSM.

Your problem is that you're too full of yourself and spout on nothing but assumpton and wish.

And whatever I write, I stand by, and don't slap defensive disclaimers all over it just to try to enlarge the audience for it. I'm not that needy.

From a review of my Dark Angel Sounding. Perhaps we could compare that with a review you've gotten on a BDSM book, Lovecraft:

“This is a wild ride from beginning to end, with graphic and intense descriptions of both physical and mental trials. The scenes are both explicit and erotic and it is captivating to watch as the young man begins to embrace the level of domination he deeply desires. For those who enjoy domination stories, this is an excellent selection, which delves into a level of possession that few are willing to explore. I recommend this story for readers who are open to very rough treatment as there is quite a bit of pain involved, but it leads to unparalleled levels of pleasure. These are some of the most intense domination scenes I have ever read and they continue to resonate long after reading.”—Emily, Rainbow Reviews, 4/5 stars!

Or this 5-star review on Vortex, again from Emily at Rainbow Reviews:

"Vortex is an extremely intoxicating story that is filled with sex that pushes all types of boundaries. Every scene is overpowering."

Like shooting carp in a wine barrel.

Then if you knew anything about BDSM you would know that it matters to single out Femdom. That it is not everybody's thing and can piss off a reader who stumbled into it.

And you can show me all of the reviews your family and publishers have arranged for you, you won't impress me. Because I know that no one ever has fake reviews done on their books:rolleyes:

And odds are your co-authors are handling your bdsm work, because you have blundered time and again into stupid questions and answers regarding anything outside of your precious little GM category.

"I don't know what CD is"

"What's a soft swing?"

yeah you really have it going on in the experience level there Mr. erotica. Meet me in Boston sometime I have club I would like to take you to then leave you there unattended for awhile. You'll see all kinds of things Google can't teach you.

Trust me your idea of boundaries is not many others ideas of boundaries.

I think you should go hang out in the BDSM and fetish forums and spout your expertise.

But aside form that, bottom line is there are tags on this site for a reason. That reason is to draw the max audience that your story will appeal to.

So your insulting of using tags here is pretty ridiculous. Then again when all your stories are based on pretty much the same plot line I wouldn't expect much else.
