For those watching at home, this is what Rightfield and Vette ran into in their very own CBO report when I asked that they read its deficit impact projection. They just never reported back and pretended like it didn't exist. Facts just don't fit their narrative.



Rightfield and Vette were misled into thinking that gross and net deficit impacts are the same thing. Had either of them graduated high school they would not have made such a mistake.

Or they were just lying - you decide.

The CBO's projection is that it's going to be something like a $250 billion deficit reducer over ten years (which isn't much per year). Let's say they were off by a huge amount, say a half trillion dollars. That's still only $25 billion per year which is a drop in the bucket relative to the entire $3.6 trillion budget.

It's one of many reasons that the climb out of this recession has been slower and more anemic than any since the depression. If we didn't have all these Obamaisms spending programs and anti-business policies and had a growth out of the recession like the average of all the others since the depression, we'd have created millions upon millions of more jobs and probalby would have been out of this unemployment nightmare we're in. I hope the growth rate that we've seen so far this month holds, but am skeptical that it will.
