And right wingers wonder why they are ridiculed

I wanted a Hammerheads, but damned if there is anywhere around here to find darts or accessories...I hate buying online for something I want feel in my hand first...The pool hall I got these at had 3 sets, 6 or 8 bristle boards and 5 or 6 soft tip boards, but he said they have no leagues and no one ever uses them...hell, the bowling alley bar where my son and I go usually has 20-30 people playing in leagues on 4 boards on one side, and 2 non league boards for us, and they are usually in use...

I live in NYC and there is a large Billiards and Darts Store about 6 blocks away so I'm never short of supplies. The nice thing about the hammerheads is you get far fewer bounce outs.

I was more shocked by the fact Alabama just took off its law against interracial marriage in 2000 in a referendum where 40% of the electorate voted to keep it illegal.

It's crazy. I would think it was bad enough to just be against it but to actually want it illegal? Insanity.

My reason for wanting them as well...although with 27g's they don't bounce very often...
I almost opened a darts and billiards shop in SoCal when I lived there...we threw almost every night and there were tons of leagues...oh for the 80's again...

My home bar has 3 boards and great drink specials (for NYC). Not to mention the bar loves us and gives us countless free drinks.

And yes, the 80's were a damn fun time!

This thread title matches perfectly with Vette's birther thread.

I swear there are some days it seems the right wingers are in some kind of contest to "out stupid" each other.

Vette, miles, off2bed, koala, semen/powertone, garbagecan etc. I doubt they have one functioning brain between all of them.

In all fairness, they are the outliers on the bell curve of conservatism.

Oh, I know that they are the reason for the term "wing nuts" and that they do not represent conservatives any more than A_J represents libertarians.

Unless you're counting KRC and Colonel Hogan amongst the leftist, liberals I think you're forgetting that the moderates and even at least (okay aside from HIS team I'm never quite clear one where the fuck Hogan stands) make fun of the Right Wing around here.

I was far more shocked that in this day and age, 25% of them think interracial marriage should be illegal. That is so backwards it's scary!

Of course, that's Deep South Republicans, not the general public, not even the whole of the Southern public.

Because the GOP would take the bait and degenerate into a bunch of swivel-eyed conspiracy nuts.

Giving the GOP reason to doubt Obama's antecedents is like giving an alcoholic a bottle of grain alcohol. It cracks open a window into the most frightened, nasty and unattractive part of their collective soul.

I'm not saying that this was what happened. I'm just saying that it would be genius if it was.

It would be too risky because if it were proven to be fake then Obama would be stuck with some serious explaining to do.

you are just, stupid

Reporting from Washington— After years of battling false claims and viral emails alleging that he is a Muslim, President Obama hasn’t gotten far among Republican voters in Alabama and Mississippi – about half still believe he is Muslim and about 1 in 4 believes his parents’ interracial marriage should have been illegal, a new poll shows.

The automated survey by Public Policy Polling, conducted over the weekend in advance of Tuesday’s GOP primaries in both states, showed Republicans Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich locked in a three-way battle for votes.

But in an indication of where the two states fall on the political spectrum, the polls also found continued skepticism among Republicans about Obama’s religion and that a substantial number of GOP voters continue to believe interracial marriage should be illegal.

Clearly, you've never been to Alabama.

I've driven through it, never spent any amount of time there interacting with the populace.

When faced with solid facts like these, how can anybody claim racism is not a factor among the wingers?

After a week of full on ridicule based on Limbaughs "slut" remark which led to the democrat campaign with the core premise being that the republicans are waging a 'war on women', polls show that support for the democrats among women voters dropped 3 pts.

Yeah buddy, let's see a little more ridicule.

Ishmael

That just followed the gas price spike though.
