She's not going after him for slander. It's an old defamation law that is still on books like a thousand old laws that nobody uses anymore. Allred is a scumbag on the same level as Rush. She just pursues a different sort of scumbaggery.
Hell, the old law itself could be seen as sexist and under different circumstances Allred would probably fight against it but this time it's convenient for her to use it.
She sets women back a hundred years every time she opens her whore mouth. If someone shot her and Rush both the world would be a better place.
