The dumb ass in the above link says the shock of $4 per gallon wears off until we pay $5 per gallon? Why the fuck does he think the US is consuming less gas in the first place?

As for me, my shock escalates along with every mother-fucking-penny I work my ass off for! Does this idiot seriously believe we are going to calm down as long as the prices continue to rise?

Same thing happened with $1 and then $2 and then $3. Nothing changes. We bitch, we get used to it, we keep driving. The oil companies are very aware that we will pay whatever we have to pay.

I live a half mile from my job.
I fill my tank every two weeks.
Let the name calling begin.

Fuck me! You people have it cheap!!!
What the hell are ou complaining about?
We pay TWICE that, on a good day.

You are absolutely right. Does not matter if its' $100 or $150 per barrel of oil, it will still climb at the gas pumps.

No name calling. Just that you only had to fill your tank once a month not so long ago.

I have said it before...i cant wait for $5/gal gas. less of you assholes on the road.

Every other developed country in the world pays more than $4/gallon.

I pay $1.079 per litre, a litre is about 36 oz, works out to $4.80/Imperial gallon.

How many oz in US gallon, I can never remember, is a quart in the US 32 oz or 40oz?

4 quarts per gallon, our gallon has 160 ounces.

$5gas is the norm all over the world.

Here, take one of these: ¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢

I'm doing a little more driving around now that my daughter started softball.
Back and forth to the school the gym and work, sad but that's my life in a nutshell.

You're easily shocked.

So is buying brides, stupid shit. So is sleeping in thatched huts.

I use about a gallon a day (normalized) so I end up spending more on skoal (one can per day at $4.50 (averaged)). Although, I gave up the rub for Lent (even though I'm an interloper on the festival).

How much longer does Lent last, by the way?

I didn't want to drink the whole thing, but I took a sip and the whole thing just sort of slid out and into my mouth in one slimy strand...

I used to recycle the plastic grocery bags as well. But MoCo now taxes them at 5 cents per. So the garbage man deals with a can full of cat poop. Sucks to be him.

I only shop where I can get it in paper...

You should see the look on the cashier's face at Walmart when I whip out my grocery bags...

I never got over the shock of gas going over 2 or 3 dollars per gallon.

Just like I still griped at paying as much or more than the average American for electricity when I lived in electric power selling/producing state - Texas. I moved to Ga, and find people here are zapped with "Nuclear Plant" operating fees in addition to the already rising costs of electricity.

Can anyone here explain something to me - Why is it America is an oil producing country dependent upon imported oil? Why are we spending millions of dollars in oil reserves to hoard oil we are not using?

^^^^I can wait. I have been waiting for an answer to that all 47 years of my existence. Those questions will go unanswered another 47 years.

Such is the debbil of commodity-based pricing.
