I think I'm at the bottom tail end of tornado alley (there haven't been any major ones in my area in decades) but my thoughts go out to those who are in the blast zone. It's not even the right season for them, but with the weather acting the way it has been lately there's no telling.

I live about 40 miles from Harrisburg. We didn't get hit by the storm, but there's another severe weather system forecasted for Friday afternoon.

Marysville is gone

Holy Crap! from here.

Powerful storms stretching from the Gulf Coast to the Great Lakes flattened buildings in several states, wrecked a small Indiana town and bred anxiety across a wide swath of the country in the second powerful tornado outbreak this week. Widespread damage was reported in southern Indiana, where Clark County Sheriff's Department Maj. Chuck Adams said the town of Marysville is "completely gone."
