Googles new privacy policy.

Can anyone give me a simple run down on whether this is something or not to be worried about? I can't afford to have my visits to sites like Lit known. How can this be avoided? ie not using google as my browser? I'm not computer literate so if anyone has anything to say, please simplify. Thanks.

My son tells me that Goggles has always contained a tracker.

He added something to prevent this and wants top switch go duck go.

Sign into your google account, then go here:
https://www.google.com/history/
and turn off your webhistory
(it might be off by default)

Yeisha google it and see. It's creating a lot of fuss, as they're making some changes to their privacy policies that have me personally worried. I'm hoping over nothign, but I can't afford to take the chance.xx

This mainly concerns Google things, Search, Google Chat, Google Calender etc..
It is meant to make Google more user friendly for you.

The information is not going to be [In Theory] shared with anyone else.

But yes, you can opt out an be happy.

I use Google Chrome and that is it, I do have a GMail account that I rarely use for anything at all.
